Science Lab

Department of Science Education has a well equipped lab to facilitate future teachers to enhance their teaching skills through experiments, demonstrations and live presentations. The necessary equipments and materials are made accessible to the student teachers as and when required during the normal course of study and examinations. Experiments concerning with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Environmental Sciences up to tenth standard are available for the student teachers for practice.

Computer Lab

Our College computer lab is well equipped and maintained with 40 computers, two printers, scanner, cd-writers etc. We have got broadband Internet connection along with networking of all the systems through LAN. We encourage our students to make maximum use of multimedia presentations in their teaching. Students can surf internet anytime during the college hours.

Language Lab

A language lab consists of one MP3, a television, a voice recorder with feedback facility. The language lab is meant for training pupil teachers in communication skills while interacting with school students.

Fine Arts Room

The Fine Arts room has a capacity of housing 50 to 60 students at a time. Teaching of Art, proper use of Blackboard, proper use of teaching aids, preparation of charts, posters, flash cards and folders along with all the colourful competitions are held in this Department. The skills of Teaching of Art and other subjects with the help of Art and Painting/Drawing are nourished here in the best possible manner.

Library

The College library supports academic programme offered by the college as per the curriculum requirement of its users. The College library has a collection of over 3773 volumes which include reference collection of general as well as subject encyclopedias, dictionaries, directories, handbooks, reports, surveys, bound periodicals covering educational philosophy, educational psychology, educational sociology, educational administration, guidance and counseling, adult education, primary, secondary, higher education, research methods in education etc. besides subjects of general interest. Library subscribes to 25 Journals and newspapers. All the books are arranged in a classified order in an open access system.

The library offers safe, comfortable, well-lit, clean space with adequate seating arrangement for about 100 readers, ensuring effective use of library resources. It offers range of information services like reference, bibliographic current awareness, user education orientation, reprographic and Internet etc. Book bank facility is also provided to needy students for the whole session.
